About this speaker
Bob Wylie is a veteran offensive line coach with extensive experience across the NFL, CFL, and XFL. Known for his technical expertise and larger-than-life personality, Wylie has coached for the Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos, and multiple CFL teams including the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Ottawa Redblacks. His offensive lines have produced multiple All-Stars in both leagues, including CFL standouts Jeremy O'Day, Gene Makowsky, and Travis Bond, as well as NFL All-Rookie guard Stefen Wisniewski.
Wylie gained widespread recognition during his time with the Browns when his coaching style was featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks in 2018. Under his leadership that season, the Browns showed significant offensive improvement and Wylie’s viral teaching moments brought a spotlight to his long-standing success in player development.
He most recently served on the staff of the Vegas Vipers in the XFL before their UFL merger exclusion. Currently, Wylie hosts and manages the COOL Clinic, continuing to educate and mentor coaches.
