About this speaker
Dale Williams is the offensive line coach at Syracuse, bringing over 25 years of collegiate experience and a track record of producing elite offensive line units. In his first season with the Orange, Williams led a front that helped Syracuse lead the nation in passing while setting a new ACC record. His line also cleared the way for LeQuint Allen Jr. to surpass 1,000 rushing yards, with Savion Washington and Jakob Bradford earning All-ACC honors.
Before Syracuse, Williams held key roles at Louisville and Purdue. At Purdue, he coached a unit that helped lead the Boilermakers to the 2022 Big Ten West title and two bowl wins. His offensive lines were instrumental in setting single-season program records for passing yards, completions, and completion percentage, and helped multiple linemen earn All-Big Ten recognition.
Williams also developed All-American and second-round NFL Draft pick Forrest Lamp during his time at Western Kentucky, where the offense ranked among the nation’s best in scoring and total yards. He previously coached at Florida Atlantic, helping the program to back-to-back bowl wins and producing multiple All-Sun Belt linemen, including units that protected Sun Belt Player of the Year Rusty Smith and cleared the way for Alfred Morris’ 1,392-yard rushing season.
