Kris Sweet

Kris Sweet is the offensive line coach for the Toronto Argonauts and one of the CFL’s most respected trench technicians. With over a decade of experience coaching offensive lines across the league, Sweet has held key roles with Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatchewan, and now Toronto.

A three-time Grey Cup champion (2008 with Calgary, 2022 and 2023 with Toronto), Sweet has consistently developed high-performing units known for physicality and efficiency. His work in Toronto has helped anchor one of the CFL’s most balanced and productive offenses, contributing to back-to-back championships.

In addition to his CFL success, Sweet also coached at the collegiate level, including a stint as offensive line coach at Howard University. His development background includes working with top offensive coordinators and head coaches across multiple systems, emphasizing both pass protection and run-game efficiency.

Known for building cohesive units, Sweet has been a critical factor in establishing Toronto’s dominance in the trenches during their recent title runs.
