About this speaker
Paul Alexander is a veteran NFL and college football coach best known for his 23-year tenure as the offensive line coach for the Cincinnati Bengals—an unprecedented stretch in modern NFL coaching. During his time in Cincinnati, Alexander developed multiple Pro Bowl linemen and helped establish one of the league’s most consistent offensive fronts. His unit ranked No. 1 in pass protection over an 11-year span, according to Pro Football Focus, and he was twice honored by Sports Illustrated, including a feature as “The Mozart Behind the Bengals’ 6-0 Start” and recognition on its “Dream Team Coaching Staff.”
Alexander began his coaching career at Penn State, Michigan, and Central Michigan before transitioning to the NFL with the New York Jets. He later served as the offensive line coach for the Dallas Cowboys, working with one of the league’s most talented and high-profile units.
Alexander officially retired from the NFL in 2018 and now consults with several elite NFL offensive linemen as a personal coach. He is always excited to share the game and he can be found at patreon.com/coachpaulalexander and twitter (X) @coachpaulalex.
Recognized for his intellectual approach to coaching, Alexander has authored PERFORM, a book exploring elite performance through the lens of both athletics and music. He continues to study leadership and performance at the highest levels, with a second book, LEAD, in progress—blending his unique experiences from the football field to the symphony stage.
