About this speaker
Rick Trickett, currently coaching at Jacksonville State, brings over four decades of experience in college football, with a focus on developing elite offensive lines. Trickett has coached at some of the sport’s top programs, including Southern Miss, New Mexico, Memphis, Mississippi State, Auburn, LSU, West Virginia, and Florida State. Notably, his offensive lines at Florida State contributed to one of the nation’s top offenses, helping the Seminoles set school and ACC records for total offense, points per game, and yards per play in 2013. That same season, FSU won the BCS National Championship with a perfect 14-0 record.
Trickett has produced more than 35 NFL draft picks and over 40 All-Conference selections, including an impressive feat of having all five starting linemen earn All-Conference honors twice—once at Florida State in 2012 and again in 2013. He also had four All-Conference selections at West Virginia in 2005 and 2006. Known for his ability to develop NFL-caliber talent, Trickett’s coaching legacy includes both assistant head coaching roles and a consistent track record of success across multiple prestigious programs.
